Summary (Spoilers ahead!)

Warnin, tasked by his aunt to locate his cousins, uses his tracking skills to find them deep in the lower woods of the mountains. Unfortunately, the twins are being threatened by a Tower Bear, a large ice predator. Warnin, in a split second decision, chooses to challenge the bear in a sacrifice play to allow the children time to escape. 

Meanwhile, an off-deployment Halogaiz is meditating on the sounds of the forest before being alerted to his smallest sibling taking on a Tower Bear alone. Knowing that Warnin could likely die in that fight, Halogaiz gives an order for Iracia to get a team of hunters together before he flies off to find Warnin. Halogaiz arrives just in time to save Warnin’s life, and Dien carries the badly injured young dragon to safety.
